is a non-governmental organization that focuses on and works closely with male children who have experienced various forms of violence and exploitation. The organization was established with the aim of supporting male children who have often been left behind in efforts to combat violence against children, especially in the areas of sexual and physical, mental and social exploitation.
The Mvulana Initiative has the following main objectives:
• To address the abuse and exploitation of boys. This includes all forms of violence against boys, including sexual, physical, and psychological abuse.
• To provide emotional support to boys affected by abuse, including psychotherapy and emotional counseling to help them heal emotional wounds.
• To protect and empower boys through education, legal aid, and community awareness efforts about the abuse of boys.
• To combat stigma against boys who experience abuse, by providing them with a platform to speak out, and ensuring that they receive legal and emotional support without fear of reprisal.
